My Project 365 for 2012 is about ‘Exploring Indian cities and their people’. From my personal lens, I want to write about Indian cities, how they function, what is wrong and what could be improved, their peculiarities, endearing eccentricities and all that make them tick. Along with this, to me, the people who inhabit these urban environs deserve to be studied with love, care and respect. How citizens from different strata use their city, perceive it, contribute to it….all that makes for the attitudes, trends we see in urban India today fascinate me. Urban India embodies the good and the ugly of where this country is going. Am hoping my blog will document one year of this journey from my perspective, exploring a variety of aspects!
